At the end of your feelings is nothing but behind every priciple is a promise. – Dr. Eric D. Thomas
Keep your eye on the ball, prize or goal. Whatever you might define success as, we all have been endowed with the feeling of searching for fulfillment in our lives.
Reflecting on the time I have already spent abroad this summer, everything has become transparent in serving a particular purpose in the regards to a lesson to learn or an opportunity to teach.
Most importantly I have learned to be patient with the process of personal growth and hope as I write this blog to inspire others to feel the same from their own perspective.
To explain, I have realized that somewhere along the road of our development we have picked up the notion that overnight success is the key to happiness. Perhaps this is why we idolize celebrities in our society and look down upon on the people who clean up after us. Success is one of those words thrown around and beaten down to the ground like love that it has lost some depth. Simply put, it has become easier to push our hearts aside to deal with the anxiety of our thoughts then to stay on course. It has become the moment of achieving a certain recognition from others in obtaining a degree, promotion or simply recognition for our endeavors.
In reality, the only moment to worry about is the one that is happening now. Our experiences tell the story of how well our plan went and the future tells us there are still pages to be written. However, when the head is stuck in either of these directions our hearts become distracted and confused by focusing on what is out of our control.
To uncover this depth, success; the actualization of our potential is simply found in the decisions we make that determine our potential to grow now. Step away from focusing on the rewards of these decisions and shift this power towards the source required to actualize them.
The greatest blessing in being Human is that we have the dignity to change. We have the will to uproot our lives and change how we think which leads to who we will become.
Wherever you are along this path we call life take a moment to reflect on your values and habits. Are you satisfied with who you are becoming? Is there something about your life you would like to change? If you hesitated to answer either question then let me remind you that you are in good shape.
Start today. Cut out the noise. Decide to get started. Focus on the next step ahead and life will give you GREAT feedback on how you’re doing but most importantly have a nice day.

How can we reach our fullest potential?
Given the dignity of choice and the domain to rule over all that walks, crawls, swims and flys in this earth we are the only creatures that seem to still feel unsatisfied after our stomachs needs have been met.
The power to worship God and find ourselves filled with the Holy Spirit can be found in Paul & Silas’s experience in prison.
To start searching for a solution to this question ponder that:
Simply put, the meaning to our lives is whatever we put meaning to, however, in whatever we command our lives to do put love for God before everything else for the chief and highest destiny of man is to glorify God and enjoy him fully for eternity.
